The official tartan of Louisiana

Yep, you heard me. A few years back, the legislators of Louisiana voted this to be the OFFICIAL Louisiana tartan. Just saw it in my clip art file and figured you wanted to see it. Especially if your name is Mr. Peacock.

Who knew...
Thanks Leezra for sharing
the official tartan of Louisiana...
I wonder what the
losing tartan looked like?
I think California needs
an official tartan too!

By the way....we should do some
sort of embroidery exhange
later in the year....
Things are crazy now,
but maybe in the summer?!

Seems like Louisiana's official tartan would include red to represent boiled seafood or brown for flood waters. Oh! Just found it - California HAS an official tartan.
<< Enacted by the California Assembly unanimously, and signed by Governor Gray Davis on July 23, 2001. >>

I had no idea that California
had a state tartan. I think
Governator Schwarzenegger
should incorporate it into his wardrobe.

Weave codes?
Everything has to always
come back to math?!
